RIZLING VLASSKY (Welschriesling)

This variety, grown in the east-Slovak region for centuries, is the dominant type of grapes in our vineyard.
Its color is anything between pale green and bright yellow. The taste is very enjoyable and fresh, significantly acidic and with a very slight variety bouquet. Those who taste it know what grape flowers smell like. As its name “vlassky” (walnut) hints, its taste carries a slight smell of hazelnuts and walnuts. Thanks to the acids it stays exceptionally fresh throughout its entire lifetime. Through its taste we present a piece of our land, as well as our craft and passion.
Rizling vlassky ages in 600-litre oak barrels for 6 months to accentuate its character and its particular terroir.

FRANKOVKA BLUE ROSE
pink | dry | 2021 | barrique
A deeply pink wine with a decent variety fruit smell, mainly of cherries and raspberries. The taste is juicily fruity, with the dominance of stone fruit complemented by a harmony of fine acids.
Frankovka modra ages in our cellars for 6 – 9 months in light-toasted barrique barrels. Wine that spends a long time in such barrels is enjoyable and does not contain too many tannins, so it acquires a lighter character.

DUNAJ

Dunaj (Danube) is a wine as magnificent as the European river. Its beautiful ruby color complements the fine fruity character. The taste and aroma contain tones of ripe cherries, sour cherries and raspberries with a significant yet enjoyable dark chocolate finish. Dunaj is a beautiful Slovak contribution that enriches the repertoire of traditional European red wines.
The wines of the Dunaj variety mature in 225-litre barrique barrels toasted light. Wine maturing in such barrels has a smoother and lighter character.
